What is thePomodoro Technique?
1:00 minute watch
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It encourages us to work in short, focused bursts. Instead of working for hours on end and losing focus, the Pomodoro Technique encourages us to take regular breaks to rest and reset. This method of working can help improve focus, boost productivity, and reduce the risk of burnout.
Choose one task to work on. Set a timer for 25 minutes, work on the task. Take a 5 minute break. Do this 3 times then take a longer break. Repeat this process until the task is done.
