Resources for learners with a high number of credits

Camden County College

Online programs are available. The Back on Track degree completion program is designed for learners returning to finish what they started.

Help with what you owe: Payment plans are available for current tuition.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If it's been more than five years since you last attended CCC, submit the free application for admission — it takes less than ten minutes.


County College of Morris

Online degrees are available. The most flexible options are Liberal Arts, Business, and Criminal Justice.

Help with what you owe: Payment plans are available for current tuition.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If you left in good academic standing, complete the request to re-enroll form and email it to registrar@ccm.edu.


Essex County College

Online classes are available, though no 100% online degrees are offered at this time.

Help with what you owe: Payment plans are available for current tuition. If you owe less than $1,000 and have a GPA of 2.0 or better, you may be eligible to submit the Balance Forgiveness Form.

How to apply or come back: There is a $30 application fee for returning learners. If you've been away from ECC for three or more years, submit the application for returning students.


Hudson County Community College

Online programs are available.

How to apply or come back: The application fee is waived for ReUp learners — use the promo code in your next steps email. Submit the application for readmission.


Kean University

Online programs are available. The B.A. in Liberal Arts is a degree completion program designed for returning learners.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If you've been away from Kean for one year or more, submit the application for re-enrollment and select the Re-Enrollment/Readmit option.


Middlesex College

Online and flexible schedule programs are available.

Montclair State University

Online programs are available.

Help with what you owe: Payment plans are available for current tuition. Note: payment plans are not available during summer terms.

How to apply or come back: The application is free for returning students. Submit the free returning student application. If you have completed more than 60 credit hours and are interested in finishing through one of Montclair's online programs, you may be eligible for a pre-admission degree audit — contact Lisa Garrity, Transfer Admissions Counselor, at williamsli@montclair.edu.


New Jersey City University

Online classes are available. One fully online undergraduate program is offered: Bachelor of Science in Fire Science.

How to apply or come back: The application is free for returning students. Submit the readmit application.


New Jersey Institute of Technology

One online undergraduate program is available: the Accelerated B.S. in Business, which requires an associate degree in business for admission.

Passaic County Community College

A wide range of distance learning courses are available.

Money that may help you finish: The Reconnect Grant is available for learners who have been away for two or more years and have 40 or more college-level credits. Contact the Reconnect Grant Office at (973) 684-4402 or reconnect@pccc.edu to find out if you qualify.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If it's been two years or more since you last attended PCCC, submit the free online Readmit Form.


Ramapo College of New Jersey

A degree completion program is available, though no fully online degree programs are offered at this time. General education classes are seldom offered online.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If you left in good standing and have been away for one year or more, submit the returning student application.


Rowan College at Burlington County

Online courses are available, though no 100% online programs are offered at this time.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If it's been three years or more since you last attended RCBC, submit the application for admission.


Rowan College of South Jersey

Online programs are available.

Help with what you owe: Payment plans are available for current tuition. If your balance is in external collections, RCSJ will still work with you directly to resolve it — call (856) 468-5000 ext. 2226.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If you last attended RCSJ more than one year ago, submit the free application.


Rowan University

Online programs are available — filter by Bachelor's and Online to find options that fit your remaining coursework.

Rutgers University — Newark

No fully online programs are available at this time.

Saint Elizabeth University

One online undergraduate program is available: RN to BSN.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. If it's been more than three years since you last attended SEU, submit the application for readmission. Contact Mary Clare Cullum to request a degree audit — she'll connect you with your former advisor or department head.


Salem Community College

Two fully online programs are available: Liberal Arts A.A. and Business Administration A.S.

Help with what you owe: Payment plans are available for current tuition. If you owe less than $600, you may be eligible for balance forgiveness — this is handled internally after you re-enroll.

How to apply or come back: The application is free. Submit the free application for readmission. Contact Amy Bennis-Kimball if you'd like to review your credits before applying.


Stockton University

Degree completion programs are available, along with some online classes, though no 100% online programs are offered at this time.

How to apply or come back: The application fee is waived using the ReUp-specific link in your next steps email. If you have not attended any other schools since leaving Stockton, submit the Re-matriculation form using the link specifically for ReUp students. Note: if you need faster support, applying first is the quickest way to get connected with an advisor.


Sussex County Community College

Online programs are available.

Thomas Edison State University
