Activation Map
7:00 minute exercise
Use this activity to map out clear, doable actions that can help you move through challenges.
When you name what you need and who or what can support you, it becomes much easier to follow through and stay focused on what matters.
How to Use This Activity
Create a three-column table with these headers:
Challenge I Am Facing | Action I Could Take | Who or What Supports
Think about any challenges you are working through, whether academic, personal, or logistical. Write down a small action for each one, along with the people, tools, or routines that could support you.
Activation Map Example
| Challenge I Am Facing | Action I Could Take | Who or What Supports |
|---|---|---|
| I am overwhelmed with upcoming assignments | Make a list of deadlines | My coach, planner app |
| I have trouble focusing during study sessions | Try a 25-minute focus timer | My study playlist or timer app |
Save your list where you can return to it. Add new challenges and actions as they come up, or update the support column when you find something that works.
Reflection Questions
-
What is one small step that feels doable?
-
Who can help, even a little?
-
What has helped you follow through before?
You do not have to solve everything at once. Each small action you name is a step toward clarity and control. Let your support system, tools, and routines work with you as you move forward. You already know what helps you reset and take action. Trust that insight and build from it.
